Business Development Manager
Tradex Systems is rapidly expanding in the Asian market. To support our growth, we are seeking motivated and entrepreneurial talent to join our Shanghai sales team to strengthen our market presence in mainland China. Successful candidates will work closely with the China and Singapore team, focusing on business development for clients and institutions in the futures trading market, OTC, derivatives market and brokerage sectors.
Responsibilities
- Proactively drive new business opportunities while thoroughly exploring the needs of existing clients to fully develop the domestic market.
- Analyse market demands and collaborate closely with the IT department to provide effective input for product enhancements.
- Manage potential client leads through business calls, emails, meetings and exhibitions.
- Draft business proposals and provide clear, efficient business information to clients and potential partners while addressing their queries.
- Identify sales channels and establish strong cooperative relationships with business partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Finance or Marketing-related fields.
- Strong communication, business presentation and training skills.
- Team-oriented with keen business acumen and strong analytical abilities.
- 1-2 years of experience in the financial sector (futures, securities) or IT/software sales is highly desirable.
- Experience in the futures, securities or commodity trading industries (e.g., metals, energy, agriculture), with an established network and market resources, is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with global futures trading, OTC and derivatives markets, or experience in IT/software sales, is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong curiosity and interest in IT and the commodities/financial derivatives markets.
- Experience in industry events, forums and delivering product or market-related presentations.
- Proficiency in English language.
