Account Executive (Sales)
Overview:
Tradex Systems is a Singapore based IT company specializing in financial trading technologies. We are looking for candidates who are interested in software development and production support. We welcome anyone with good programming skills and solid knowledge in computer science, including entry level candidate, to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new software modules/features according to customer’s requirements.
- Maintain current code base of our existing software, including bug fixes, code refactoring and other improvements based on customer’s feedback
- Maintain our key infrastructure, i.e., servers and networks, required for normal operations of our software system
- Develop automated tools to facilitate support and administration duties
- Provide technical/production support for our existing software system; actively monitor and resolve customers’ report of system issues. May be required to handle urgent-level technical support issues after office hours.
Requirements:
- Good proficiency with at least one programming language (C#, C/C++, Java etc.); we prefer candidates who know C#; If you have experience with C++ or Java, can master C# in a short span of time
- Adequate understanding of advanced programming concepts including data structures/algorithms and multi-threading. Understanding on TCP/IP network and SSL/TLS would be a plus.
- Knowledge in version control, example: GitLab
- Experience with server and network administration (especially Windows server, Aliyun Console, and Linux) is a plus
- Experience with SQL database management is a plus
- Excellent communication skills (written/oral) in English and Mandarin in view of business communications/to liaise with Chinse speaking associates
- Min. Diploma/Degree with a Science or Engineering major. Degree in Computer Science /Information Technology is preferred but not required
- Able to work in a small team collaboratively as well as independently
